Brok Torbert

Brok Torbert serves as South Louisiana Veteran Outreach’s President. Brok served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army on active duty from 2005 – 2011. Brok served with the 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, where he served as a Forward Observer. Brok, a 100% disabled Veteran, has two deployments: Iraq (2006 – 2008) and Afghanistan (2009 – 2011). Brok oversees the work of the board and the organization’s senior management team, including executive board members. 

Jory Camille

Jory Camille serves as South Louisiana Veteran Outreach’s Vice President. Jory served as a Sergeant in the United States Marines on active duty for four years. Jory served with the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, India Co. with two deployments serving as an Infantrymen: Afghanistan (2004 - 2005) and Iraq (2006). Jory is a vital part of South Louisiana Veteran Outreach leadership team. Jory carriers out special assignments and ensures all South Louisiana Veteran Outreach programs are running efficiently. 

Dex Martin

Dex Martin serves as South Louisiana Veteran Outreach’s Secretary. Dex served as a Corporal in the United States Marines on active for four years. Dex served with the 9th Combat Engineers and MARSO. Dex has three deployments serving as a Diesel Mechanic: Fuji (2006), Iraq (2006 – 2007) and Malaysia (2007). Dex is responsible for maintaining complete and accurate meeting minutes. Dex is also tasked with monitoring compliance with the organization’s bylaws. 

David Rodriguez

David Rodriguez serves as an Executive Board Member for South Louisiana Veteran Outreach. David served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marines on active duty for 4 years. David, a 70% disabled Veteran, served with the 3rd Battalion 8th Marines with three deployments serving as an Infantrymen: Haiti (2004), Iraq (2004 – 2005), and Iraq (2005 – 2006). David serves as a fiduciary of the organization’s assets. David plays a very significant role by providing guidance and contributing to the organization’s culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability. 

Clay Duplantis

Clay Duplantis serves as South Louisiana Veteran Outreach’s Treasurer. Clay served as a Sergeant in the United States Marines on active duty for four years. Clay served with the VMFA - 533 with one deployment serving as an Aviation Ordnance Technician on F/A – 18D Hornets: Iraq (2006). Clay keeps track of the organization’s financial condition and has tremendous experience in finance. Clay ensures that appropriate financial reports are made available and reviews the annual audit. 

William Johnston IV

William serves as an Executive Board Member for South Louisiana Veteran Outreach. William served as Sergeant in the United States Marines on active duty for 5 years. William, a 70% disabled Veteran, served with the HML/A - 269, MAG 29 and 2D MAW with three deployments serving as a Helicopter Mechanic: Iraq (2006), Operation Sea Angel (Bangladesh) (2007), Operation Enduring Freedom (Kearsarge) (2007 – 2008), and Iraq (2008 -2009). William ensures the advancement of South Louisiana Veteran Outreach’s mission to secure growth and development to the Veterans in which the organization assists. William plays a vital role providing comprehension to the organization’s programs provided to Veterans.
